Cristiano Ronaldo added another milestone to his illustrious career as he scored a hat-trick in Al Nassr's 4-1 victory over Monastir in the Arab Club Champions Cup quarter-final on Tuesday. The Portuguese superstar, who joined the Saudi club from Juventus in July, became the first player to score 50 goals in the competition, surpassing the previous record of 49 held by Egypt's Mahmoud El Khatib. Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a powerful header from a corner, then doubled his tally in the 34th minute with a clinical finish from inside the box. He completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute with a penalty after he was fouled by Monastir defender Hamza Mathlouthi. Al Nassr's fourth goal came from Brazilian midfielder Petros in the 82nd minute, while Monastir scored a consolation goal in stoppage time through Ahmed Akaichi. Al Nassr will face Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in the semi-final, while Monastir were eliminated from the tournament.
