The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced the results of the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2023 on Wednesday. The exam was conducted online from April 18 to 25, 2023 for admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by VIT campuses across India. According to the official website, the counselling process will begin from May 1, 2023.
The top ranker of VITEEE 2023 is Ankit Kumar Singh, a student from Jharkhand. He scored 118 out of 120 marks in the exam. He was followed by Pranav Goyal from Punjab and Harshvardhan Agarwal from Uttar Pradesh, who secured the second and third ranks respectively. The top 10 rank holders also include students from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
VITEEE 2023 saw a participation of more than 2 lakh candidates from different states and countries. The exam was held in 121 cities in India and four cities abroad, including Dubai and Kuwait. The exam consisted of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English/Aptitude. The candidates had the option to choose their preferred slot and mode of exam (home or centre-based).
